soundless Bark

I come home to the sound of no barking; Cocoa always barks. I find her laying under the table with her left face still swollen. So I lay down quietly crying next to her, rubbing her back to assure her that I’m there for her. Come on Cocoa you have to get better on your own because I can’t help you. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, but please get better soon. I need you to bark at me when I enter the door, I miss your hellos
